More than 1.8m emergency food parcels provided for families with children in past year. A 46% increase compared to five years ago.

Figures released in May 2025 reveal that 2.9 million emergency food parcels were provided to people facing hardship across the UK between April 2024 and March 2025, with more than a million of these provided for children.
